About this tool

Runs entirely in your browser: A calculator that turns an invoice amount and your provider's real fee structure into the amount you will actually receive.

It separates the three costs that eat an international payment: a percentage fee, a fixed per-transaction fee, and the FX margin baked into the exchange rate. You enter the rates your own provider charges, so the result reflects your situation rather than an out-of-date comparison table.

Use it to compare two payment methods honestly, or to price the fee into what you quote a client.

How to use it

  1. Enter the invoice amount.
  2. Enter your provider's percentage fee, fixed fee, and FX margin (find these in their pricing page or a past statement).
  3. Read the breakdown: total fees, the amount received, and the effective cost as a percentage.

Frequently asked questions

What is the FX margin?

The gap between the real mid-market exchange rate and the rate your provider gives you. It is usually the largest cost and is rarely shown as a fee, so enter it as a percentage if you know it.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved.

Why do I enter the fees myself?

Because published rates change and vary by plan and corridor. A tool with hardcoded percentages would be wrong for most people and stale within months. Entering your own rates makes the result accurate for you.
